The summer of my junior year in high school,
I took an internship on the opposite side of the country.
On the 8 hour trip there, two thoughts crossed my mind,

Although stranded for a while,
It all worked itself out in the end,
sometimes, you just gotta trust your gut,
some things are destined to happen.
A little over a year ago, I was accepted,
into start my major,
Electrical Engineering.
Becoming an engineer and creating my own power company has always been a dream of mine.
To be able to do so in a field which I am very passionate about,
makes my days even more rewarding.
Knowing that your success, isn't determined by anyone else,
but based completely on your inner drive and desire to live the America Dream...
something my dad often told my cousins and I,
at the dinner table when we were kids.
A couple months ago, it dawned on me that,
I no longer live for the weekends.
I don’t know if I would work for free,
but I do understanding that feeling…..and it does feel good.
